1st PLACE MULTIPLE: MATT MCCLAIN, WASHINGTON POST–Guymon Pioneer Days pays tribute to the spirit of those who settled an area once known at “No Man’s Land”. Located in the panhandle of Oklahoma, the region was the epicenter of the Dust Bowl of the 1930s. The annual event offers several rodeo performances, a carnival, and parade.
