Aerial photos of flooding from rainfall brought by Hurricane Florence

3rd PLACE NEWS: KRISTEN ZEIS, VIRGINIAN-PILOT–Home, vehicles and boats are swallowed by floodwaters from the Northeast Cape Fear River brought to the area by Hurricane Florence in Pender County, N.C., on Sunday, September 23, 2018. Hurricane Florence made landfall on Friday, September 14, 2018 and brought over 23 inches of rain to the area. The storm left over 2,400 storms damaged in Pender County with an estimated 25 percent of the homes underwater.
