Laurice Lanier-Trowell is reflected in a piano Wednesday afternoon November 30, 2016. Lanier-Trowell, a graduate of The Juilliard School, has performed on Broadway and in 2014 stepped away from the stage to take care of her mother. Lanier-Trowell will serve as the lead singer in “Collaborating in a Room Full of Art,” which will feature multiple local dance companies December 10 at the American Theatre in Hampton.
