Days of steady rain have saturated the ground and prevented Henley from using larger equipment that’s necessary to plant fall crops. “I like to say farming is almost like Atlantic City or Las Vegas,” Henley said, “If everything works good, it’s an enjoyable occupation because you watch stuff grow, everything does good. But when you get something like this, and you sit there and watch a crop wither up and die, it gets kind of disheartening.”
